Words..be careful what you say
They can be a cause of dismay
Words can cause scars
They also can make people smile
And make you feel worth while
Build up…..make people feel wanted
Tear down…and people will hate themselves
And make them wonder why they are not liked
It makes them feel so broken and wounded
They then feel so stranded
You could change the world with what you say
Think about how your words could change today
They may make a difference in someones eternity
Or maybe it will change someones mind
About something that will change forever
Words can turn people now or never
Ephesians 4:29:
Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.

Christmas glee
Surrounds me
Every where I see
Most people are happy
True Christmas joy
Can be found in Christ
Not in some holiday
That is some sense
Could just waste away
Jesus this year
Could bring you
To a hope once far
But now near

God’s son Christmas….
•December 19, 2007 • Leave a CommentIt’s almost Christmas time again.Well most probably know the story of a baby in a manger. But I am going to post it up on here anyways.
Luke 1:26-38
In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end.”"How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin? The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called[c] the Son of God. Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be barren is in her sixth month. For nothing is impossible with God.”"I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May it be to me as you have said.” Then the angel left her.
Matthew 1:18-25
This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly. But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,[c] because he will save his people from their sins.”All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”[d]—which means, “God with us.When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.
Luke 2:1-20
The Birth of Jesus
In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) And everyone went to his own town to register. So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
The Shepherds and the Angels
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ[a] the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.”When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.
Satan….conclusion
•November 3, 2007 • 1 CommentSatans main purpose is what???? Here is a short poem I wrote about a bible verse:
Satan…but Jesus
You steal
You kill
You destroy
Everything bad you employ
But Jesus:
Gives abudant life
He took upon himself the strife
He will beat the devil in the end
That is why we should follow him.
This is the bible verse my poem was written about.
John 10:10:
The theif(satan) does not come except to steal,to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Satan came to steal, kill, and destroy.I think I rather follow Jesus.
Satan…who?? Pt 2….
•November 3, 2007 • Leave a CommentLast time I wrote about Satan I desribed who he is.Well ths is more in depth on the study of Satan.
Isaiah 14:12-15:
“How you are fallen from heaven O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground,You who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart:
‘I will ascend into heaven,I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;I will also sit on the mount of the congregation. On the farthest sides of the north;I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol,To the lowest depths of the pit.
Satan is a tempter,he is powerful,he is good at lying,he is the deciever and he is selfish which leads to his biggest problem PRIDE.
You can also imagine that Satan is a Lion waiting to devour his pray.
1 Peter 5:8-9
Be sober,be vigilant;because you adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.
God is in control
•October 31, 2007 • Leave a CommentWhatever the Lord pleases he does,in heaven and in earth,in the seas and in all deep places.Psalm 135:6
This means that God is in charge over the world and in the lives of believers. There are a few more verses that also prove this.
But our God in heaven; He does whatever he pleases.Psalm 115:3
When he utters his voice,There is a multitude of waters in the heavens: “And He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth. He makes lightning for the rain,He brings the wind out of his treasuries”.
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God,to those who are called accoring to his purpose.
So in other words if your a believer don’t worry…God is the one in control of everything that happens. If by chance you are not saved
Laboring without God is pointless
•October 27, 2007 • 1 CommentUnless the Lord builds the house,They labor in vain who build it;unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.It is vain for you to rise ealry,to sit up late,to eat the bread of sorrows,For he gives his beloved sleep.Psalm 127:1-2
Pretty much if we trust God he will give us the rest we need to carry on laboring.
Satan…who? Part 1
•October 15, 2007 • Leave a CommentSatan…he is not this demon we may picture in our minds. No he is actually an angel. But when he got prideful and wanted to be God he got thrown out of heave.
Ezekiel 28:11-19
The word of the LORD came to me: “Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says:
” ‘You were the model of perfection,
full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
You were in Eden,
the garden of God;
every precious stone adorned you:
ruby, topaz and emerald,
chrysolite, onyx and jasper,
sapphire, [a] turquoise and beryl. [b]
Your settings and mountings [c] were made of gold;
on the day you were created they were prepared.
You were anointed as a guardian cherub,
for so I ordained you.
You were on the holy mount of God;
you walked among the fiery stones.
You were blameless in your ways
from the day you were created
till wickedness was found in you.
Through your widespread trade
you were filled with violence,
and you sinned.
So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God,
and I expelled you, O guardian cherub,
from among the fiery stones.
Your heart became proud
on account of your beauty,
and you corrupted your wisdom
because of your splendor.
So I threw you to the earth;
I made a spectacle of you before kings.
By your many sins and dishonest trade
you have desecrated your sanctuaries.
So I made a fire come out from you,
and it consumed you,
and I reduced you to ashes on the ground
in the sight of all who were watching.
All the nations who knew you
are appalled at you;
you have come to a horrible end
and will be no more.’ “
2 Corinthians 11:14:
And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
Satan makes himself look good.We will find out why in part two of this series.
Psalm 1
•October 9, 2007 • Leave a CommentBlessed is the man who doe not walk in the counsel of the wicked,or stand in the way of sinner,or sit in the seat of mockers.
This verse shows that you should be careful what friends and influences you have in your life.
But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.
Basically those who are in God’s word.
He is like a tree planted by streams of water which yields its fruit in season and whose leaves does not whither.Whatever he does propers.
I really like the blessings of God’s law.Especially the whatever he does propers.God has the ability to bless us its our choice whether or not we recieve that blessing.
Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgement, nor in the assembly of the righteous. For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
Two choices: Live God’s way and reap reward;Or live wickedly and Perish
I think God’s way would be better.
What about you?
More than knee deep
•August 14, 2007 • Leave a CommentEzekiel 47:1-14
The man brought me back to the entrance of the temple, and I saw water coming out from under the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the temple faced east). The water was coming down from under the south side of the temple, south of the altar. He then brought me out through the north gate and led me around the outside to the outer gate facing east, and the water was flowing from the south side.
As the man went eastward with a measuring line in his hand, he measured off a thousand cubits [a] and then led me through water that was ankle-deep. 4 He measured off another thousand cubits and led me through water that was knee-deep. He measured off another thousand and led me through water that was up to the waist. He measured off another thousand, but now it was a river that I could not cross, because the water had risen and was deep enough to swim in—a river that no one could cross. He asked me, “Son of man, do you see this?”
Then he led me back to the bank of the river. When I arrived there, I saw a great number of trees on each side of the river. He said to me, “This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah, [b] where it enters the Sea. [c] When it empties into the Sea, [d] the water there becomes fresh. Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows. There will be large numbers of fish, because this water flows there and makes the salt water fresh; so where the river flows everything will live. Fishermen will stand along the shore; from En Gedi to En Eglaim there will be places for spreading nets. The fish will be of many kinds—like the fish of the Great Sea. [e] But the swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they will be left for salt. Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.”
The Boundaries of the Land
This is what the Sovereign LORD says: “These are the boundaries by which you are to divide the land for an inheritance among the twelve tribes of Israel, with two portions for Joseph. You are to divide it equally among them. Because I swore with uplifted hand to give it to your forefathers, this land will become your inheritance.
